Our Mission:
BECS a été incorporé en organisme à but non lucratif (OBNL) en 1996 par un groupe de militants écologistes de Montréal qui souhaitaient mettre en pratique leurs idéaux d’écologie sociale. S’inspirant des systèmes d’échange local (SEL) qui existaient en Europe et d’expériences semblables réalisées dans l’Ouest canadien, ils lancent leur projet avec l’objectif ultime de bâtir un monde meilleur, inclusif et solidaire.
