Training/Planning Sessions Offered by TimeBanks USA
TBUSA’s ½ day training and planning sessions give you lots of flexibility. You can spread the four-session sequence out over time (recommended) or take them all at one time as a complete 2-day how-to training in Time Banking.
Participants tell us that they find the training exciting, inspiring, useful, and helpful. We also now offer an additional, optional post-training planning session for laying out next steps. This can be the length you want, from a couple of hours to a whole day, depending on what works for you and the agenda you agree to.
There are two main kinds of Time Banking training/planning sessions:
Learn/vision/do sessions provide general and how-to information on Time Banking principles and practices, and how Time Banking operates to reweave community.
Planning sessions put the insights and tools you have learned to work, using an inclusive, fun and dynamic planning process.
The sessions are carefully sequenced, with later sessions building on material and exercises from earlier ones. To get the most out of the training, you should definitely take them in the order they are offered. There is also a 1 ½ - 2 hour general introductory presentation, which explains Time Banking for members of the community and the organizations and staff who will be interacting with the Time Bank.
